This year hubby and I have decided that instead of giving each other gifts, we will take the money we would have spent and donate it to charity. Before you get all ooh and aaah, we did it partially for selfish reason. Selfish reasons being that we were beyond stressed about what to get each other and it was turning into a nightmare, so why not give the money to someone who needs it more.
As we discussed where we might give this money, and argument ensued. I won't go into details, but think for just a moment, we were arguing about charity. I'll let that sink in... Anyways.
Any suggestions on where we might donate. I would prefer to donate to a local charity, in which local means the greater Houston area. Thanks.
